We have carried out work to update and improve the Log Max 5000V, from serial number: 152090. Below we present a selection of the most important new features and improvements.
- As part of our safety work, speed sensors have been added to the feed roller motors and the saw motor, enabling speed monitoring in the control system.
- The rotators on the Log Max 5000V are being replaced with larger models to provideincreased rotator torque.
- Expander shafts have been added as an option for the feed roller arms as well as the left, right, and lower delimbing knives. Expander shafts are used to eliminate play and wear in joints, providing a stronger and more durable mounting.
- Colour marking and Find End can now be combined as optional equipment.
- A protective plate has been introduced to improve the durability of the lubrication hose to the shaft of the lower delimbing knife cylinder and to protect it from external impact, see image below.
