Since 1994, Log Max has been ISO 9001 certified, demonstrating our long-term, systematic commitment to high-quality products, services, and processes.
We are now also ISO 45001 certified, the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. This certification is the result of many years of dedicated work to continuously develop and strengthen our occupational health and safety practices.
Achieving this certification has required a strong commitment from employees throughout the organization. Ulla Hannerz, Plant Manager, has played an important role in the process, and we asked her about the journey to certification and what it means for Log Max.
What does ISO 45001 mean for Log Max?
It confirms that we work systematically and with a long-term perspective on occupational health and safety, and that we are committed to taking responsibility for our employees’ health, safety, and well-being.
What has been most important in the work leading up to the certification?
Employee engagement throughout the organization. Our employees play an active role in developing our ways of working, processes, and routines.
How will employees notice this in their daily work?
We have worked to make our processes clearer and increased our focus on preventive risk management. This contributes to a safer workplace.
This year marks Ulla’s 25th anniversary with Log Max. We would like to thank her for her dedication, commitment, and all she has contributed to the company over the past 25 years.
